Natural language processing (NLP) has been a complex and elusive goal in computer science for decades, often characterized by slow progress and partial solutions. This material describes the impact of large language models (LLMs), enabled by advances in deep learning, the availability of extensive language data, and accessible computing power in the form of GPUs. We analyze the integration of LLMs into everyday applications, focusing on their significance for the Slovak language and the development of Jarvis, our personal assistant utilizing these technologies.
