Physical presence. Digital consciousness. Local development. DiusAI and the ELEVATE Slovakia initiative have shown what appears to be the first humanoid robot in Slovakia.
Slovak technology platform DiusAI, in collaboration with the innovation initiative ELEVATE Slovakia, has introduced its first humanoid robot. This is a significant step in a long-term vision in which artificial intelligence connects with the physical world and takes the form of an autonomous digital partner for humans. The starting point is full localization - Slovak language, cultural behavior and the ability to adapt to the local environment.
The robot was purchased from the renowned Chinese manufacturer Unitree, but its key capabilities - autonomous decision-making, movement, learning, and interaction - are being developed in Slovakia.
The robot is built on the internationally proven Unitree G1 Edu platform. The company RoboTech Vision, which has many years of experience in developing autonomous systems and sensory algorithms, is responsible for the movement and sensory algorithms. The development team's goal is to create a connection between its body and personalized AI - the Jarvis system, which DiusAI is actively developing. Jarvis is to serve as the "thinking core" of the robot in the future. The implementation of Jarvis is still ongoing, but the goal is clear: to create AI that understands humans, responds to context, and develops with the user.
As part of the ELEVATE Slovakia initiative, DiusAI, as the technology leader of the project, is participating in the development of autonomous systems and artificial intelligence, with the aim of covering the technological startup-to-market cycle directly in Slovakia. The company has already invested 100,000 euros in the project and provided a feasibility study and research infrastructure. Now it has also provided a humanoid robot for the pilot project related to robotics. "This is not just a technological experiment. It is a step towards the future in which technologies will enter reality - walking among people, understanding them and helping them. And at the same time respecting who they are," said Patrik Tkáč, founder of the technology company DiusAI.
Artificial intelligence that walks with you
The aim of the project is to explore the possibilities of using a humanoid robot as a trusted partner for humans - not only in laboratories, but also in industry, households and public spaces.
After integration, the Slovak humanoid will have:
The development and implementation of a humanoid robot into the environment is part of one of several pilot projects of the ELEVATE Slovakia initiative. “The goal is not just to demonstrate the technology, but to build a long-term sustainable innovation ecosystem that will have a real impact on Slovak society, the economy and the country's global reputation as a technology player,” said Peter Dovhun, from the ELEVATE Slovakia initiative.
Robotics for research and education
As part of the ELEVATE Slovakia initiative, the partners plan to make the humanoid robot available to Slovak scientific and educational institutions. With this step, they want to support the testing of their own technological solutions, software and algorithms. About the ELEVATE Slovakia initiative
ELEVATE Slovakia is a strategic public-private platform that was established based on a memorandum signed in May 2025 between the Ministry of Transport of the Slovak Republic, the Slovak Academy of Sciences, the capital city of Bratislava, Slovak Post and technology partner DiusAI. Its mission is to build a comprehensive innovation ecosystem for autonomous mobility and artificial intelligence, connecting the public sector, research institutions, local governments and technology companies. The ELEVATE initiative is not just a technology test, but an ambitious project with the aim of transforming Slovakia into a country that not only uses technology, but also creates it itself.
